Community Stories: The Creek Sessions

Jessica Kilroy, one half of folk duo Pterodactyl Plains, has created something amazing, useful and essential. A short film about her relationship with the wild, with music inspired by the sounds of nature, a whole body of work dedicated to the preservation of the natural environment with the noble cause to raise awareness about what humanity is extremely close losing. The EP “Creek Sessions” accompanying the short film by the same title, is a beautiful handful of folk songs, including “Horizon II” one of the highlights of the bands 2010 debut album “Raven”.  Amazing stuff, definitely a band to watch.
